Chelsea’s opponents in the league phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League have been confirmed, including an away match versus a Bundesliga club.
The Blues had to beat Swiss Super League club Servette in a play-off to make it through to the actual competition.
Enzo Maresca’s side won the first leg 2-0 at Stamford Bridge but only just avoided disaster with a 2-1 defeat in the second seeing them through 3-2 on aggregate.
They will now play six matches in the league phase and will expect to finish in the top eight out of 36 teams – guaranteeing their place in the round of 16.

Can Chelsea win the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League?
Chelsea are the firm favourites to win the UEFA Conference League this season. Their biggest competition for the trophy will probably be Fiorentina or Real Betis.
Having previously won the Champions League and the Europa League twice each, it will be a serious underachievement if the West London club do not become the first team to win all three competitions.
