Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Bayern are having a terrible campaign under Thomas Tuchel and have now confirmed that they will part ways with the German when it concludes. They are currently second in the Bundesliga table, eight points behind Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen side, and have lost the first leg of their last-16 Champions League tie against Lazio.
Tuchel’s availability is now likely to alert Premier League clubs after his successful stint in England with Chelsea. According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United have a long-standing interest in the 50-year-old.
Chelsea’s London rivals could be on the lookout for a new manager in the summer, with David Moyes’ contract set to expire.
The Scotsman has come under a bit of pressure recently after a bad run of results. The Hammers lost 2-0 against Nottingham Forest last time out, which followed their humiliating 6-0 defeat to Arsenal at home.

Thomas Tuchel has admirers in England
It is no surprise that Tuchel has fans in the Premier League. He did an excellent job at Chelsea during his time there.
The Bayern boss guided the club to fourth and third-place finishes before his sacking and was, of course, the mastermind behind their 2021 Champions League success.
Tuchel also won the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup and took Chelsea to three domestic cup finals.
When you consider all of that, he should never have been sacked. He was, though, has since taken over at Bayern and is now set to leave after a difficult season there. It gives West Ham the chance to make an incredible appointment, but it remains to be seen if Tuchel would actually be willing to join the east London club.
There is nothing wrong with the Hammers trying, however. Tuchel showed at Chelsea that he is definitely worth the effort and energy.
