Chelsea’s number one transfer target is now prepared to talk to them about moving to Stamford Bridge

Reports have claimed that striker Victor Osimhen is now prepared to speak to Chelsea about a potential transfer to Stamford Bridge.

According to TeamTALK, the Blues have just received a massive boost regarding potentially signing their number one target either this January or at the end of the season.

A striker does seem to be the biggest priority in West London right now, and the list of targets has not extended too much further than Osimhen.

The Nigerian international enjoyed a stellar campaign last season, firing Napoli to the Serie A title as well as a Champions League quarter-final appearance.

While the goals have still been flowing this season, the relationship off the pitch between the club and the player seems to be at an all-time low.

There has been no talk recently of the potential of the striker signing a new contract with his current club, allowing rumours to fly over where his future lies.

Osimhen interested in Chelsea

Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel has already given his pitch personally to his countryman as to why he should make the move to Stamford Bridge.

Now, it has been reported Osimhen is willing to talk to Chelsea over a potential deal.

It has been frequently claimed that the Napoli man is their number one target for the striker role, however he is not the only name who has been mentioned when discussing a potential addition.

Ivan Toney has also been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, with it expected that he leaves Brentford at the next possible moment he can.

While Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Englishman, it does feel as if Chelsea could get themselves to the front of the queue if they really want to.
