There are numerous top clubs interested in signing Malo Gusto from Chelsea this summer, however the Blues are keen to keep hold of the defender going into next season.
Gusto has provided an excellent option for the Blues at right-back since joining from Lyon, and has featured in 45 games so far this season.
He has frequently been called upon since joining to hold the fort while Reece James has been injured, and his quality has allowed managers to use the captain in central midfield too.

His brilliance has been picked up by a number of top sides, with PSG and Bayern Munich amongst those tracking the defender.
However, Simon Phillips has stated that the Blues are ‘more than willing’ to keep Gusto, and are even discussing offering him an improved contract at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “One player who is generating an interest for the summer is right back Malo Gusto, with four clubs tracking him ahead of a possible approach to his agents and to Chelsea.
“SPTC Sources understand that PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Inter Milan are all tracking Gusto ahead of the summer window opening up.
“It is unclear at the moment what the player’s stance in on any move, but we’ve heard that Chelsea are more than willing to keep Gusto and he’s even one who they may speak to about for improved contract terms.”
Gusto is currently under contract until 2030, however the way the club operates suggests a new deal could be coming his way soon.

Chelsea willing to reward players with contracts
This season has seen Moises Caicedo and Reece James sign new contracts, despite neither running towards the end of their deals.
The Blues are signing players on lower starting salaries, however offering performance-based incentives as part of the deals.
