The majority of Scotland fans were in agreement about Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour’s fine exhibition during last night’s friendly victory.
Steve Clarke’s side finished their European Championship rehearsal strongly, defeating Luxembourg 1-0.
Gilmour only made a 30-minute appearance due to sustaining a second half injury, but he showed enough to get the Scot supporters purring.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
Gilmour was brought on at the interval and for half an hour, bossed the match.
He was smooth in possession, elegant in his play and determined in the tackle.
Everything that Chelsea followers have come to love about their young sensation.
After taking quite a heavy knock, those associated with Scotland waited on bated breath to know the extent of his damage.

Thankfully, Clarke confirmed his substitution was more precautionary than necessary.
If fully fit, Gilmour will surely be in for a shot at starting the first Euro game against the Czech Republic in a weeks’ time.
Despite only being capped twice at senior international level, the 19-year-old has plenty of domestic experience to pull rank.
Although the midfielder’s minutes have been minimal at Chelsea, he’s earned some valuable lessons at the highest level of club football.

Thomas Tuchel played him in three consecutive Premier League games last month, including the 2-1 away win over Manchester City.
Frank Lampard handed Gilmour a few appearances in the Champions League as well.
There aren’t many teenagers in European football who can boast that achievement.
