Chelsea put in a performance for the ages to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, with one of their former players making sure he kept up to date just hours before his own game.
The Blues beat champions Liverpool 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, with a stunning goal from Moises Caicedo and a last-minute winner from Estevao Willian sending supporters into a frenzy.
It was certainly a great outing for some of the players who have come up through the academy at Cobham, with Josh Acheampong handed just his second Premier League start of the season at centre-back.
Even though he was forced off with an injury, the sixth centre-back to be unavailable for Chelsea at that moment, he was replaced effortlessly by Reece James, whose personal stock continues to go in the right direction.

Andreas Christensen spotted watching Chelsea beat Liverpool
The club captain is the longest-serving player at the club, and has seen a number of top-quality fellow Cobham graduates come through, as well as leave them.
One player who fits that bill is Andreas Christensen, who despite leaving the Blues for free seems to still have affection to his former side.
As spotted on Barcelona’s official social media, the Dane can be seen watching the Chelsea game as he arrived ahead of their La Liga game against Sevilla.
The centre-back spent a decade at Chelsea before moving, with him one of the players the Blues were not able to offer a new contract to due to restrictions placed on the club.

Andreas Christensen’s career since leaving Chelsea
Christensen has been an important member of the Barcelona squad since leaving Chelsea, with him starting seven games for them in all competitions so far this season.
Injuries proved to be an issue for him when he was at Stamford Bridge, and this has unfortunately been the case in Spain too.
The defender will have happy memories of his time at the club, with the highlight being Champions League glory against Manchester City in 2021.
