Cole Palmer has now taken to social media to react to recent news surrounding Chelsea teammate Christopher Nkunku.
He took to Instagram to hint at his excitement that the 25-year-old was approaching the latter stages of his recovery from injury that has stopped him playing at all this season.
Nkunku was brought in as the star addition of the summer in terms of attackers, with a lot of impotence put on him as far as goal scoring for this season went.

During the pre-season campaign, it looked as if he was going to fulfil that role well, as he showed why he scored so many goals in the past two seasons for his former side, RB Leipzig.
However, in the last game of the tour of the United States he fell to an injury that left those watching extremely concerned.
Palmer to Nkunku
Fast forward to November, and supporters are still yet to see the Frenchman in action. However, recent updates have hinted that he is getting closer.
He was spotted back on the exercise bikes at Cobham alongside Raheem Sterling, suggesting he is nearer to joining up with the rest of the first team than ever.
This has left a number of Chelsea players obviously excited, with a seriously talented player preparing to play his first game for the club.

One of those is Palmer, who took to his Instagram page to leave a wordless yet excited comment.
Palmer has arguably been Chelsea’s player of the season so far, contributing to goals in near enough every game since his deadline day move from Manchester City.
While it may have been thought originally like he would be the player to drop out when Nkunku returned to fitness, Mauricio Pochettino will now surely be looking for a way to fit both of them into his side for the remainder of the campaign.
