Romelu Lukaku is set to make his second Chelsea debut at the Emirates Stadium, while Kai Havertz returns to starting line-up.

Given Tuchel’s admission about a possible tactical change due to Lukaku’s familiarity playing in a strike pairing at Inter Milan, it is possible that the former Inter Milan ace and Havertz are going to play as a strike pairing up front.

Mason Mount could either play as a left inside forward in a 3-4-3 or a No.10 behind those two in a 3-5-2.

Unfortunately, Hakim Ziyech and N’Golo Kante, who have recently recovered from injuries, are not ready to start and only make the bench.

Chelsea’s starting eleven: Mendy, Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Kovacic, Jorginho, James, Mount, Havertz, Lukaku.

The home side, on the other hand, had to work around their Covid-19 cases and injury problems.

Albert Sambi Lokonga is the only player out of their five summer signings to make the starting line-up, while as widely reported earlier, Ben White is out of the Arsenal squad.

Arsenal’s starting eleven: Leno, Cedric, Holding, Mari, Tierney, Lokonga, Xhaka, Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Pepe.
