Darren Bent insists one of Chelsea’s summer signings would definitely force their way into Arsenal’s best starting line-up.

There’s been a lot made of another busy transfer window at Chelsea, with many voices in the media critical of the club’s activity. Blues head coach Enzo Maresca is winning over plenty of the fanbase with the way he’s dealing with the pressure from journalists in press conferences, though.

As well as numerous incomings at Chelsea, the club have also shipped out several individuals permanently or on loan, which is something many like to overlook.

There’s speculation that plenty more stars could leave before the summer window shuts, too. For example, The Guardian explains that Raheem Sterling wants to depart Chelsea this month following his exile from the main first-team group.

Darren Bent thinks Pedro Neto starts for Arsenal

TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent definitely sounds like he’s a big fan of Pedro Neto. Chelsea agreed a £54m deal (BBC) earlier this month to sign the skilful attacker from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he made his club debut at the weekend in the Premier League defeat to Manchester City.

Bent thinks that the 24-year-old Blues summer signing is so good he would be able to break into the starting XI at Arsenal, who’ve been title challengers in the last couple of years.

He told talkSPORT: “If he can stay fully fit, he’d start for Arsenal on that left-hand side. I’ve got no doubts about that. When he’s fit and he’s at it, oh my goodness. That pace.”

Does Pedro Neto get in Chelsea’s best XI?

It may take Neto a bit of time to adapt to his new environment after five years at Wolves, but we’re confident once he’s up and running he’ll make Chelsea a better team. We think Maresca will end up fitting him into the best starting line-up.

The Portuguese forward can play anywhere across the frontline, but he’s perhaps at his most threatening in wide areas when he’s running one-on-one at defenders.

Chelsea suddenly have serious question marks in the forward positions, which is a good thing for the manager.

Let’s wait and see who emerges as the preferred stars from Neto, Cole Palmer, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix.
