Ian Wright had no doubts that Chelsea would triumph over Leicester City in the FA Cup final this Saturday.
Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, Wright was certain that Thomas Tuchel’s team would be winners at Wembley this weekend.
“For the FA Cup final, I’m definitely going to go for Chelsea,” admitted the ex-Arsenal striker.

“Chelsea are so militant in the way they are playing at the moment. It’s so good and it’s quite scary.
“They’ve got enough players that can just win. Whereas you look at Leicester. I’m looking at (Youri) Tielemans, Kelechi (Iheanacho).
“If you get (N’Golo) Kante in and around Tielemans, just blotting people, where’s the creation coming from?
“I just can’t see Leicester beating them. I see Chelsea winning at a canter.”

Chelsea head into this fixture against the Foxes in fine form.
They are fresh from their Premier League win over Manchester City, having already knocked them out in the FA Cup semi-final.
Only West Bromwich Albion and Porto have beaten the Blues during Tuchel’s 25 game tenure.
Leicester also have a Manchester scalp to reveal in, after they defeated United last night to hand City the league title.

However, they were defeated 4-2 away to Newcastle United in the previous domestic outing, which dented their top four ambitions.
Brendan Rodgers will be wary that his side have never won the world’s oldest cup competition in their illustrious history.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are eight-time victors and runners up on half a dozen occasions.

All the odds are stacked in Tuchel’s favour. However, in this one-off occasion, absolutely anything can happen.

Wrighty, I could not agree more. It seems almost inconceivable that Chelsea will lose this final.
The Blues have the squad, the momentum and the cup final pedigree.
But overconfidence is a killer and Leicester have every right to feel they are in with a shout.
