Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo joined a team with a lot of good players last summer.
Chelsea signed Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion last August and while their league position may not reflect the above, Mauricio Pochettino undoubtedly has some very talented individuals in his squad.
That includes Enzo Fernandez, and Caicedo has told Chelsea’s official website that he really enjoys playing alongside the 23-year-old.
The South American duo have been key players for Pochettino this season. Both men have made 34 appearances each in all competitions.
Manchester United legend Paul Ince does not think Caicedo is the same player he was at Brighton but has called for the Ecuadorian to be given more time.

Caicedo and Fernandez have quickly struck up a partnership on the pitch.
Speaking about the Argentina international, Caicedo said: “It’s easy to play with him. We have the same language on the pitch and help each other. We enjoy when we win and we are frustrated when we lose.”

There are probably a lot of players in that Chelsea team who enjoy playing with Fernandez like Caicedo does.
The World Cup winner is someone who is very good on the ball and able to pick out his team-mates.
According to WhoScored, Fernandez completes 60.6 passes per game in the Premier League, which is the fourth-highest average in Pochettino’s squad. His average of 4.3 long balls is also higher than any other outfield player at Stamford Bridge.
In recent weeks, Fernandez has started to add a few more goals to his game as well. He scored an excellent free-kick against Aston Villa in an FA Cup replay before following that up with a cool finish in a London derby versus Crystal Palace.
It is easy to see, then, why Caicedo likes sharing the pitch with the former Benfica man.
