Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto both wowed by £62m Chelsea teammate’s display vs Arsenal

Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto have both been left impressed by one Chelsea player in particular after his display against Arsenal.

Chelsea have plenty of positives to take away from the Arsenal clash.

It was a game that just lacked that extra bit of quality in the final third, but there were some honourable mentions for the Blues.

Pedro Neto and Marc Cucurella were the standouts, but Moises Caicedo also had another terrific game as he continues to excel at Stamford Bridge this season.

Neto and Enzo Fernandez were particularly impressed with one of their Chelsea teammates during the Arsenal draw, as they took to Instagram to drop him a couple of messages.

Pedro Neto can count himself unlucky not to pick up the Man of the Match award against Arsenal as he was a constant threat to the Gunners, and even bagged himself a goal.

Enzo Fernandez also had his positive moments, coming on and controlling things in midfield.

However, it was one of their teammates that really caught the eyes of both players.

Marc Cucurella posted on Instagram after the game.

‘Great team spirit today, moving in the right direction. 📈 See you in two weeks, Blues’

Fernandez was quick to reply as he stated.

‘Crazy today’

Neto also responded.

‘Cucuuuuuu’ with three fire emojis.

Marc Cucurella’s performance in numbers against Arsenal

Cucurella, who joined for £55 million, played the full 90 minutes once again for Chelsea.

He managed 58 touches, a passing accuracy percentage of 92, was fouled once, won four of his seven duels, made three tackles, three interceptions, one blocked shot and two clearances.

Most importantly, he kept Bukayo Saka quiet. In fact, he’s probably still in his pocket now.

Enzo Maresca certainly won’t be thinking about leaving Cucurella out again anytime soon if he continues to deliver performances like that, as he was nothing short of sensational.
