Stewart Robson has explained that the combination of Kai Havertz, Joao Felix, and Raheem Sterling is working really well in Chelsea’s attack.
There have been a lot of issues so far this season with the Blues forward line, but Graham Potter has stumbled across a new partnership very recently.
Chelsea’s head coach continues to prefer Havertz as the centre-forward leading the line. However, he’s now got support either side of him from Felix and Sterling, who are prepared to go beyond him.
We think Havertz has looked much more free in his movement since having these two teammates join him in attack.

ESPN pundit Robson has urged Potter to stick with his new-look attack in the weeks ahead.
Unfortunately, Sterling is an injury doubt to play this afternoon against Leicester City.
“He’s got the balance right with Havertz playing as a centre-forward, Joao Felix, and Sterling playing off of him. He’s now got to stick with it,” Robson told ESPN.
It’s vital that these types of combinations start to form if Chelsea want to move in the right direction.
On top of the attack, it definitely looks like the Blues defence is now taking shape since moving back to a back three.

Once Sterling is fit again, Chelsea should test out this new forward line a bit more.
There are plenty of other attacking options in the Blues squad, including the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Mason Mount.
Let’s see who can step up and impress at Leicester during Sterling’s absence.
