Chelsea’s Premier League campaign under their new manager Enzo Maresca is going well so far.

From the six games that they have played, Chelsea have taken 13 points, putting them in fourth place.

It is exactly where the Blues want to be, with some now not ruling them out of the title race. They are currently just two points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Chelsea players getting along with Enzo Maresca

Chelsea players seem to be happy with Maresca right now, which is to be expected given that they are currently winning games under him.

Speaking about the Chelsea squad and Maresca on The Debrief, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said: “The team is very happy with how he’s handling things and always the club is feeling the same.

“So I think it’s a very positive situation around Chelsea, probably the best moment after the new owners came in at the club.”

According to Levi Colwill, though, some Chelsea players have gone to Maresca, asking why they are not getting minutes.

What can Chelsea accomplish under Enzo Maresca this season?

With the squad that they have, Chelsea definitely have it in them to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.

The Blues should also be winning the Conference League. They are by far the strongest team in the competition.

Ultimately, anything less than Champions League qualification and victory in the Conference League final would not be good enough.

If Chelsea can get Champions League qualification alone, a lot of supporters will probably feel that it is job done. But again, with the quality that the Chelsea manager has available, they do not have an excuse for not winning the European competition that they are currently competing in.

“It would be embarrassing,” Chris Sutton warned Chelsea as he discussed the possibility of them not winning the Conference League.

However, Maresca should feel confident that he can do that while getting Chelsea back into the top four and Champions League. Both are more than realistic goals for the Italian and his side this season.
