Fabrizio Romano has now shared what he has recently heard about the prospect of Chelsea losing one of their top players this summer.
He was speaking to The Residncy and was asked a question about the future of club captain Reece James, after rumours have begun to surface regarding a potential move.
Reports broke over the weekend that there may be some openness at Stamford Bridge to James being sold in order for the club to balance the books as far as financial fair play goes.

Chelsea could sell Gallagher
Normally, it is Conor Gallagher who is discussed as a potential makeweight in this scenario, with him approaching the final year of his current contract.
Tottenham are one of the sides who have previously been in for the England midfielder, with it being said that near enough every side in the Premier League believes he could be on the move at the end of the campaign.
While that is believable to some Chelsea fans, the potential sale of James is something that many would not be able to comprehend.
No news on Reece James being sold
Romano has had his say on this, with him stating that from what he has heard, there is very little to report in terms of any transfer interest.
He said: “Working to return as soon as possible. Zero transfer news. Full commitment to Chelsea as usual.”
James has been missing for the entirety of 2024 after suffering yet another injury setback, with him this time deciding surgery was the best option to take.
There is hope that he will be able to return to the first team picture in the coming weeks, and the need for him to come back has been increased after Saturday.
An apparent hamstring injury suffered by Malo Gusto has left them very short of numbers for the right-back position, with Axel Disasi likely to play there on Thursday against Manchester United.
