Despite joining on a free transfer, the former Fulham defender is looking to prove that he should be considered for first team minutes instantly at Stamford Bridge.
His time at the top level has already seen him described as ‘fantastic’, and there will be plenty excited by the quality he can bring.

He faces a tough task trying to live up to the quality of Thiago Silva, who left the club this summer after four glorious years in West London.
There is a chance still that Trevoh Chalobah leaves as well if the right proposal comes in from another side for him, despite the fact he ended last season as an important player for the club.
