Chelsea supporters on social media were all for Hakim Ziyech’s thunderbolt in training ahead of the UEFA Super Cup finale.
A video emerged on Twitter of the Blues going through a drill on the eve of their clash against Villarreal which perfectly captured the Moroccan’s mighty strike.
It epitomised how Ziyech has been performing over the past month or so in pre-season: looking sharp, looking hungry and full of confidence.
He has given Thomas Tuchel very little reason not to start him in the final.
Based on this clip, the 28-year-old should be in from the off.
Blues fans wholeheartedly agreed after witnessing the bolt from the blue.

Although the early signs are very positive, it would unwise to assume Ziyech is back to his peak based on a few friendly fixtures and six-second videos.
That being said, the left-footed fancy has looked a level above most of his teammates in the last couple of matches.
His double at home to Tottenham Hotspur was no fluke; both efforts were dispatched with the greatest of precision.
Granted, he has probably been afforded more opportunities than most due to being at Cobham from the very beginning of pre-season.
But Ziyech hasn’t let this golden ticket go to waste. He just needs to cash it in during the Super Cup showpiece event tonight.
