Chelsea manager Frank Lampard admitted his delight with the impact new signing Ben Chilwell has made at Stamford Bridge and vowed there is a lot more to come from him moving forward as he adapts to the system.
The 23-year-old defender helped the Blues beat Burnley on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League and it was another eye-catching display from him.

Hakim Ziyech, Kurt Zouma and Timo Werner were the goalscorers for Chelsea in a 3-0 win at Turf Moor and they created plenty of goalscoring chances.
Chilwell is an attack-minded left-back that got forward at will against Burnley and was a major outlet in the final third.
The speedster was unfortunate not to grab an assist when his cross was converted by teammate Olivier Giroud, as the forward was in an offside position.

Lampard discussed post-match the start Chilwell has made since his arrival from Leicester City:
“Yes, it has been a really positive impact [from Chilwell] and it is an important part of how I want to play is involving our full-backs in an offensive sense,” Lampard said, as quoted by Football.London.
“For Chily, part of the reason to bring him to the club is his ability to cover a lot of high intensity moments in games, where he is joining in and getting high up the pitch and we haven’t utilised it enough in the last two or three performances, I have got to say, so it is something I spoke about yesterday and worked on with the team. We saw that a bit today with when they went went and our balance with the midfield 8s dropping in slightly.
“We were finding different lines very well. With the quality of Chily, we have to utilise him and get him high up the pitch at times is a big deal for us and he will get better as he is settling in. There’s a lot more to come from Chily.”

Chilwell has to be commended for the type of attacking threat he’s given Chelsea, but it can’t be overlooked that he’s also a part of a defence that have managed to turn things around and he looks a significant upgrade on Marcos Alonso.
The England international has started the club’s six games across all competitions in the full-back position and has helped keep five clean sheets during that.
