Frank Lampard has confirmed that Christian Pulisic will be in the Chelsea squad for Tuesday’s trip to Wolves’ Molineux Stadium.
The 22-year-old’s inclusion will be a big boost for the Blues after a disappointing defeat to Everton at the weekend.
With Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi absent, the lack of a natural winger was apparent as Chelsea failed to break down Everton’s defence.
While Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi remain out, Lampard said Pulisic will be available for the Wolves game.

“He [Pulisic] was struggling with his hamstring at the weekend,” Lampard told reporters in his press conference on Monday (via Chelsea’s official YouTube channel).
“[But] he trained at the weekend when we played against Everton and he felt better, so he’s in the squad for tomorrow.
“Yes, it’s yet to be decided whether he starts or not, but it’s obviously positive news from where it was at the weekend.”

Having had several injury setbacks this season, Pulisic has had just two Premier League starts so far (five league appearances in total).
A start on Tuesday might be risky, however, since another injury could leave Chelsea without a winger for the festive fixtures.
Chelsea will have four games in the next couple of weeks, including the trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
