Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Chelsea already have 12 players up for sale ahead of this summer.
He told GiveMeSport that it’s very difficult to know the order that players will leave in, in what is set to a be another busy summer at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are well aware that they will need to sell before they can buy this summer as a result of two consecutive big spends in transfer windows.

A scattergun approach was taken last summer in what was Todd Boehly’s first window in charge of the club. The likes of Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella came in for big money, however have struggled to showcase their best.
January was instead used more to try and fill the gaps that had very obviously been formed throughout the season.

The highlight addition was undoubtedly Enzo Fernandez, who was brought in for a club-record fee.
Now, Jones has claimed the result of these signings is the Blues having to list a dozen players for sale this summer.
He said: “It’s tricky to pinpoint it. From what I’m told, there are 12 players up for sale in the summer.

“To be honest, it’s not easy to predict what order they’re going to leave in. Even with Loftus-Cheek, you don’t know how long that deal is going to take to be wrapped up.”
A number of other names have been reported to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, however some may be sold due to the fact that they are not currently willing to extend their contract.
One of these could be Mason Mount, despite him winning the last two player of the season awards for the club.
