Fulham manager Marco Silva has now addressed the possibility of his side signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja in the final few hours of transfer window.
He answered a question to Sky Sports directly about his side making an addition to their attack later on deadline day.
Fulham have been the side strongest linked with a move for Broja in the closing stages of the January window, as they look to address their glaring issue up front.
That was only added to by the injury suffered earlier this week by Raul Jimenez, reportedly making the West Londoners even more desperate for a move.
After Chelsea’s original valuation for the academy graduate was way higher than any one was willing to meet, it has later emerged that a move could end up being a straight loan for the player.
Silva was tight-lipped however when asked directly about Fulham’s plans today.
He said: “I’m not going to make any comments on players or rumours. It’s not necessary and not something I normally do, to speak about players from other clubs.
“I am here to speak about our players. It’s a situation I don’t want to talk about because I am not involved in this situation. They are not our players and I don’t want to talk about it.”
Chelsea seem to be wiling to loan out the striker despite only having Nicolas Jackson as a recognised option in the side right now.
There may be a reliance on Christopher Nkunku to fill the role, after his goal last night against Liverpool.
