Antonio Rudiger admitted how much he was enjoying being managed by Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, speaking to Sport Bild.

Tuchel has been a breath of fresh air since he assumed managerial responsibility from Frank Lampard in January.

His methods have been marvellous, with the results to match.

14 games unbeaten after taking the hot seat, Tuchel is on track to making the best start of any Chelsea coach in the club’s history.

A huge part of this process can be owed to the installation of important players such as Rudiger into the starting line-up.

The centre-back is certainly benefiting from this new ownership and explained what it was like to work under Tuchel.

Rudiger said: “He is very detail-obsessed and brings over the tactical tricks extremely well.

“He is fun to work with and it takes us all forward.

“This is especially important in the European Championship year.”

Watching Tuchel’s antics on the side-lines gives a good indication of his footballing philosophies.

He is in constant communication with his team, handing out instructions and orders to every individual.

Chelsea have reaped the rewards of this obsessive approach as they look to end the season extremely strongly.

This will set-up most of the squad nicely before they embark on the European Championships, with Rudiger involved in that conversation.
