Gabby Agbonlahor claims Chelsea really need to get rid of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who joined Chelsea for £10million (Sky Sports) last year, has endured a really poor debut season at Stamford Bridge.
The experienced striker signed for the Blues on a two-year deal, but we reckon you’d have a hard job finding any fans that want him in the plans next season.
He’s scored three goals in 19 Blues appearances across all competitions this campaign, with his little success coming in the first half of the season. It’s felt like he’s barely had a kick in recent months, though.
The final nail in the coffin for the 33-year-old forward was being omitted from the Champions League squad after Christmas.
He’s returned to the Premier League matchday squad lately since Frank Lampard took charge as caretaker boss, but it looks a long road back for him at the Bridge.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor was discussing the players Chelsea should let go in the summer to trim their massive squad.
The talkSPORT pundit says Aubameyang is definitely one that needs to be sold.
“Aubameyang, easy one to get rid of,” he said.

Spanish publication AS claimed last month that Aubameyang is ‘willing to do everything’ to try seal a return to Barcelona this summer.
He did well during his brief stint in Spain at the Camp Nou, so it’s a move that could work well for all parties.
Regardless, Chelsea need to do their best to sell the centre-forward to help trim this ridiculously large squad.
Afterwards, the Blues need a new No.9 to lead the line and score regular goals, something which has been impossible for this side this season.
