Chelsea have already spent plenty of money to raid Brighton for some of their best players, however Gabriel Agbonlahor believes the Blues could get even better by signing another.
The Blues broke the Premier League transfer record at the time to bring in Moises Caicedo from the Seagulls, with him now one of the best players in the league and looking worth every penny.
As well as the midfielder, Chelsea have added Joao Pedro, Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez to their ranks, all of whom being key first team players at Stamford Bridge.
It is a credit to Brighton’s own scouting that they have so many players who are wanted by the elite clubs in the Premier League, with the latest being Carlos Baleba.

Gabriel Agbonlahor says Carlos Baleba would be incredible for Chelsea
The midfielder has done his best to fill the void left by Caicedo’s exit, and was very much on the radar of Manchester United over the summer.
Agbonlahor however has encouraged Chelsea to make a move for the Cameroon international, telling TalkSPORT that the midfield the Blues could construct with him in their squad would take some beating.
He said: “It will just be interesting what club want to pay the money that Brighton want. They might want 95, 100 million, whatever they want for him.
“What a player, imagine him at Chelsea, imagine a midfield of Baleba, Caicedo and Fernandez, oh my god.”

Chelsea blessed with talent in midfield
The Blues found themselves without Caicedo and Fernandez in the starting side to face Nottingham Forest at the weekend, however the fixture showed the embarrassment of riches they possess in the midfield positions.
Andrey Santos and Romeo Lavia started alongside each other for the first time in a Chelsea shirt, and while the Blues struggled they did create a great chance for the Brazilian to find the net.
There will always be a desire for Caicedo and Fernandez to be on the pitch, however the Blues will feel safe that they have the backups required if injuries continue to plague them.
However, if the Blues are looking to spend big money again on a new signing, they should look to the areas that are causing more concern on the pitch, notably centre-back and goalkeeper.
