Gary Neville has claimed on his podcast that he believes Chelsea’s owners will hold their nerve and see it through with Graham Potter as manager.
Things reached a new low yesterday as the Blues were defeated 1-0 at home by Southampton.
The side who are bottom of the league matched the hosts throughout the 90 minutes, with a victory arguably the deserved result.

A classic James Ward-Prowse free-kick on the stroke of half-time sunk the Blues, who again were unable to find the net.
They utilised January signing David Datro Fofana up front following a host of changes from the side who lost in Germany last week.
However, things only lasted 45 minutes for the striker before he was replaced.
Neville makes Potter claim
Questions have been asked of the manager’s credentials for weeks now, however never more so than after Saturday’s embarrassing result.
Neville has claimed that he believes that the right thing to do is to stick by the former Brighton man despite the ominous form.
He said: “Potter is under massive pressure. You can see it in his face. The chances they missed in the 2nd half and the boos at the end, felt a little ominous. I think they’ll want to do the right thing, the Chelsea owners.

“They’ve sacked a manager very early in Tuchel, they’ve owned their new manager, they’ve brought recruitment assistants in alongside him, so they’ve invested heavily in Graham and his team, but they have to hold their nerve if they want to see it through.”
Potter currently faces the tough task of turning things around with a fanbase who showed clear frustration on Saturday.
The best way to do that would be turning things around in the Champions League when Borussia Dortmund come to town in a few weeks’ time.
