Gary Neville has made his weekly prediction ahead of the upcoming fixture between Chelsea and Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea host Brighton this Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. They’ve both made decent starts under respective new management, so it’s set to be an enthralling contest this weekend.
The Blues recorded a league double over Brighton last season, including back in May when Christopher Nkunku scored a winning goal in a 2-1 victory. Incidentally, Chelsea need to find a way to get Nkunku into their starting XI because he’s currently not a starter in the league under Enzo Maresca’s management.

Gary Neville is tipping Chelsea to continue their good form on Saturday with a narrow home win over the Seagulls.
He said on the Stick to Football podcast: “I think Brighton will score, 2-1 Chelsea.”
European contenders
We’re optimistic that Chelsea will be firmly in the hunt for the European spots this season, specifically the top four and the Champions League. The same could be said about Brighton, too.
It’s a big chance on Saturday for one of the aforementioned clubs to cement a good start to the campaign with another three points.

There’s a lot of top sides now in the top division all looking up the table, but Chelsea need to try reestablish themselves as a major force again. Let’s hope that Maresca is the right manager to do it.
We’re sure that the Blues fanbase will enjoy some great trips in this season’s Conference League journey, but they need to make sure they’re back in Europe’s elite competition next year.
