Chelsea supporters couldn’t help but jump on the Erling Haaland bandwagon after he bagged a Champions League brace last night.
The brilliant Borussia Dortmund forward scored twice against Sevilla to ensure his side won 3-2 during the first-leg clash in Spain.

That took his European tally to an incredible 18 goals in just 13 matches and his 25th for the season in all competitions.
His stock continues to rise at an astronomical rate and plenty of the countries big hitters want a piece of the Haaland pie.
None more so than Chelsea, who have said they will try to sign Dortmund’s young talisman (The Athletic).
Blues fans have wrapped themselves up in the idea of the 20-year-old joining their club and they let their feelings be known after his sizzling performance in Sevilla yesterday.
Breaking the brank to bring Haaland in might be putting it gently. He has a release clause of £66.6m (The Athletic) that doesn’t come into effect until 2022.
If anyone wants to jump the gun and fire for the Norwegian’s signature early, they will likely have to fork out a triple digit figure.
Clearly, Chelsea followers want Roman Abramovich to hand Haaland a blank cheque and let him sign whatever he wants.

I know we shouldn’t overhype these exciting talents out of fear they might tumble and fall from their great heights. I think we are safe with this one…
