Glenn Hoddle believes Chelsea can field one of the best midfield partnerships in the world with Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
The Blues have conducted some crazy investment on signings during the past few windows, especially into the centre of the park.
Enzo Fernandez joined Chelsea for a then-British record transfer of £106.8million (Sky Sports) back in January. Mauricio Pochettino’s side smashed the record earlier this month by signing Moises Caicedo for £115million (Sky Sports).

Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty show, Hoddle highlighted the exciting potential of a Fernandez-Caicedo partnership.
“It was tough on him, but we can’t judge him on that one performance. He’s going to have to show come character because Chelsea do need points on the board.
“Caicedo is going to be a major asset. I think him and Enzo in that centre of midfield will challenge any other club in the midfield area. That is a very top, top quality midfield couple in there.”

Fernandez and Caicedo got their first minutes together during a chaotic second-half of Sunday’s defeat against West Ham, which went particularly wrong for the latter on his Blues debut.
Hopefully, the aforementioned duo start in this Friday’s home fixture at home to Luton Town.
