Chelsea’s top scorer in club history certainly has his fair share of goals to choose from when determining which is his favourite.

Frank Lampard easily established himself as a Chelsea legend during his 13-year stint at the Stamford Bridge club.

The midfielder won it all during those 13 years, including helping Chelsea to their first ever UEFA Champions League triumph in 2011/12.

Frank Lampard names title-winning goal his favourite for Chelsea

It is easy for Chelsea fans to compare any of their midfielders to the Englishman, with him arguably their greatest in that position to feature in the Premier League.

He scored the goals which helped Chelsea to a 2-0 win back in 2005 that confirmed they were going to win their first league title in 50 years, with his second coming late in the second half to send the away fans at Bolton Wanderers crazy.

Lampard has stated that he believes the moment makes it his favourite goal he ever scored for the Blues.

He said: “Probably because it was our first Premier League title win as a group, Chelsea’s first for 50 years, that goal is definitely my goosebump moment. I watch that back more than probably any other goal. It’s the one that gets me now, even years later.”

Lampard is Chelsea’s all-time record goalscorer

Lampard is the greatest goalscorer that Stamford Bridge has ever seen, despite being a midfielder.

The ex-England star scored a total of 211 goals for Chelsea, besting the previous long-held by Bobby Tambling, of 194.

These goals contributed to plenty of success on the pitch too. In total, Lampard won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, one UEFA Champions League and one UEFA Europa League title during his storied career at Chelsea.

On a personal level, Lampard was also named Chelsea Player of the Year on three occasions, and won the FWA Footballer of the Year award in 2005.
