Lewis Hall has been called up again by Graham Potter to train with the Chelsea first-team ahead of the Arsenal match on Sunday.

In a video captured by Sky Sports, Hall can be seen in the frame from seven seconds onwards, listening to instructions handed out by the Blues boss.

Hall continues to impress Chelsea managers

The 18-year-old has got to know Potter pretty well recently, having also been called up to work with the senior squad before Wednesday’s win over Dinamo Zagreb.

Although Hall did not make the Champions League matchday squad, it is a positive sign to be asked back by Chelsea’s manager.

He continues his education from last season, where the teenager regularly trained with Thomas Tuchel’s side.

His hard work and commitment paid off, earning a first senior start for his boyhood club in the FA Cup against Chesterfield in January.

Tuchel did not select the defender again following such a sterling debut, but did offer him a spot on the bench for two Premier League games.

Whilst it’s highly unlikely the academy graduate will face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this weekend, the signs are pointing towards another appearance.

But as Potter has said before, he won’t simply use the youthful contingent at Cobham ‘for the sake of it’.

Chelsea versus Arsenal

The ever-approaching London derby is certainly not the time to throw the youth players into the fire.

Pride and points are on the line, something neither team can afford to lose right now.

Arsenal continue to jostle Manchester City for the league’s top spot, hoping to enter the World Cup with the bragging rights to the table.

Meanwhile, ten points and five places below the Gunners, Chelsea can only look up at their rivals as they try to breach the top four.

It’s all to play for, let the best man win.
