England teammates and Premier League rivals; Declan Rice and Jack Grealish have reacted to Mason Mount’s celebration as Chelsea secured their second Champions League title on Saturday.
The Chelsea player of the year was outstanding, especially in the first half where he created more chances (three) than the whole Manchester City side combined.
Two of them were big chances; an incredible assist for Kai Havertz’s eventual winner and a cutback cross that Timo Werner, unfortunately, could not finish.
The 22-year-old also misplaced just one pass in the 80 minutes he played, which is incredible given how aggressive Manchester City’s pressing game was.
Mount shared his moments with the Ol’ Big Ears on social media after the game and was unsurprisingly got quite a lot of responses, including from Chelsea legend John Terry.
“Unbelievable season, mate. Congratulations,” Terry said in the comments.
While Aston Villa ace Grealish sent a one-word message: “Legendary.”

His best mate, West Ham’s Rice, also had his say about Mount’s celebration.
“Man recreated the Drogba [run],” Rice wrote.
“These pictures are elite. So proud, bro. No one deserves it more.”
Winning the Champions League at 22 is certainly an accomplishment that you can be proud of, but Mount insisted that it is just the beginning for him.

Fans have not seen best of him, Mount says
“No, not yet,” the Chelsea academy graduate responded when asked whether he is a world-class player already in a post-match interview with Virgin Media Sport.
“The best of me has not come. I’m still young, still learning and still hungry to get better and better — that’s the way I am.
“Having this [the Champions League winner medal] and winning this trophy has made me even more hungry.
“We need to do it [again] next season. We can’t be just a one-off [winners].
“And we need to go for the Premier League, get this [the Champions League winner medal] around my neck again and hopefully, keep winning.”
