Owen Hargreaves said Thomas Tuchel will eventually unleash ‘unbelievable’ Christian Pulisic as he made his prediction for Chelsea’s trip to Leeds United.

If there is one key reason to Chelsea’s 11-game unbeaten run under Tuchel, it has to be their defence.

Since Tuchel introduced his 3-4-3 system, they have only conceded two goals in all competitions.

Teams just did not look like they were going to score against this Chelsea team, and the list includes top sides such Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.

The formation comes at the expense of several players, however, including Pulisic who has yet to start in any Premier League game under Tuchel.

“Tuchel is not famous for being a defensive manager, is he?” he told Premier League Productions’ The Weekend Preview (via Optus Sport).

“[Historically], his teams score in abundance — every attacking player scores.

“And still, I think there are players to come in there — Pulisic he’s an unbelievable player and he’s barely played.”

Speaking about Saturday’s clash Elland Road, the former Bayern Munich midfielder said Chelsea will continue their unbeaten run.

“He [Tuchel] is doing an incredible job,” he added.

“[Marcelo] Bielsa will make it interesting, but Chelsea [will] come out on top.”
