Darren Bent gave an insight into Jack Grealish’s admiration for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount whilst speaking on talkSPORT.
Grealish and Mount might share a club rivalry but have formed a tight bond whilst away on European Championship duty with England.
There was plenty of speculation leading up to the tournament about whether the Aston Villa skipper could play alongside Chelsea’s golden boy.

Both were vying for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s side as one of the creative forces behind Harry Kane.
As it stands, Mount has just pipped Grealish to a place in the team.
More love for Mount
However, the Villa talisman ensured there was no animosity between the pair during a recent conversation with Bent.
“The way he (Grealish) kind of spoke about Mason was really nice to hear,” said the former England striker.

“He was saying ‘Bently I’m telling you; he is so good. Not only in terms of the way he works, the way he presses, which he is very, very good at’.
“He said ‘it’s not just that, it’s the way he plays is so good’.
“Honestly, the way he was talking about it, he was beaming across his face.”
England exposure
It’s a sign of how harmonious the Three Lions camp is that players are able to speak freely about their compatriots, despite their domestic allegiances.
England stars of the past will share stories of fractions within the group, individuals not wanting to rub shoulders with those they class as Premier League enemies.

Many believe this is a massive reason behind the golden generation’s failure to never win a major international competition.
No such issues are apparent this time around, as Mount, Grealish, and co. all seem to have a united, unselfish focus.
