Chelsea legend Ricardo Carvalho has now shared which of his former Chelsea teammates was the biggest help to him during his time at Stamford Bridge.
He told the club website that captain John Terry had a major influence on him as he looked to transition to the style of the Premier League.
Carvalho has hero status in West London after an extremely successful tenure at the club, winning near enough everything that was available.

He formed a super partnership at the back with Terry, who of course is regarded as one of the greats in Premier League history.
The Portuguese international has now claimed that it was the Englishman who helped him get to grips with things nice and quickly.
Carvalho praises Terry
He said: “For me, as a defender, he was an example, because he grew up in England and I grew up in Portugal, with different ways of playing. Here the pace, the long balls, and everything, it was different, so I had to improve my game in those areas.
“I was talking to him from the beginning and after we enjoyed ourselves; we had a very good relationship together and we started to know each other quickly. Sometimes we didn’t even need to speak, it was just about looking at each other and I knew what he was going to do.
“He knew that I liked to cover, I knew that he liked to fight for the first balls, so it was automatic. Those are the kind of things you feel and it is difficult to explain in words.”
Supporters will look back with great fondness on their time at the back together, and hope they have some players who can replicate that in the future.
With a young core of Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana on their way through, it suggests we could be in good hands.
