Jody Morris massively praised Chelsea star Reece James for his performance in the weekend’s game against Leicester City.
Chelsea fought through adversity on Saturday afternoon, winning by a 2-1 scoreline at Stamford Bridge against Leicester in the Premier League.
Thomas Tuchel’s side had to play with a man less for over an hour due to Conor Gallagher’s red card in the first half.
Despite the numerical advantage on the pitch, Blues summer signing Raheem Sterling scored twice after half time to help earn maximum league points.

Jody Morris praised Reece James
Former Chelsea coach Morris was full of praise for James after his display earlier today.
The 22-year-old defender, who once again showed his versatility by playing as both a full-back and a wing-back during a contest that saw a change of systems, made a big impact.
For example, he assisted Sterling’s second strike with a perfect cross to his unmarked teammate at the back post.
“He’s just a total footballer,” Morris told Stadium Astro.
“I thought on the pitch in the first half he was the best player. I thought his range of passing came into play. Depending on the type of opponent, that will dictate where the manager plays him.”

Our MVP
It feels like James is the go-to player right now in this Chelsea line-up.
Fans have seen him pop up in so many defensive and midfield positions in the opening four games of the season, but the fact is he’s a massive influence wherever he is.
The England international is only improving tactically and technically, too.
His influence as an offensive threat is something Chelsea boss Tuchel must do his best to exploit, which means getting him in high and wide positions regularly.
