Former Premier League midfielder Danny Murphy thinks Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk would be a different player if he was at Manchester City.
Mykhailo Mudryk has struggled in the Premier League since arriving from Ukraine, but Murphy, speaking on talkSPORT, has said “we will see the best of him” and thinks things would look a lot different if he was at City instead of Chelsea.
The 22-year-old is yet to score a goal for the Blues and has not been an automatic starter under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, he has been getting game time recently, starting in his side’s 1-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup last night.
Danny Murphy praises Mykhailo Mudryk
Despite his struggles, Murphy has still had some kind words to say about Mudryk.
“The reality is, if he was walking through the door at Manchester City, we’d be seeing a different player than at Chelsea because of the state the club’s in,” the former Liverpool player said when discussing the Ukrainian on talkSPORT.
“Sometimes, different personalities and different characters respond differently. I think we will see the best of him. I’m not sure on some of the other signings, but I don’t worry about him. He’s talented.”
Mykhailo Mudryk can come good
It is important to remember that Mudryk has not been at Chelsea for long and arrived at Stamford Bridge with no Premier League experience.

The Ukraine international is still just 22 as well, so there was always a chance of him struggling at first in west London.
As Mudryk continues to adapt to English football and Chelsea improve as a whole, the former Shakhtar Donetsk man may get better, so we are not writing him off just yet.
In a much stronger side like City, perhaps Mudryk would be performing. But he is at Chelsea and again, once the whole team starts playing properly again, maybe that will make things easier for him.
