Raheem Sterling has shared that Chelsea and England teammate Mason Mount is really hard-working in training.
Mount, 23, has been included in England’s World Cup squad for the tournament in Qatar, which begins for the Three Lions on Monday against Iran.
It’s the Chelsea star’s first involvement at a World Cup, but he’s established himself as an important player for his country in the last few years.
The attacking midfielder has 32 senior caps for England, all of which have come under Gareth Southgate.

Mason Mount in training
Sterling, who will look to play a key role himself for England at the World Cup, says his club and international teammate is great on the training pitch. He thinks Mount has big potential looking ahead, too.
“Mason, another top trainer, and a player that’s got a high potential ceiling. A player that’s been producing for Chelsea and with the national team, and he is a player that we are definitely going to need in the future because he has all the qualities to be one of the very best midfielders,” Sterling told GQ Sports.

It’s quite easy to overlook the fact that Mount is still only 23 just because he’s been around Chelsea’s first team for a few years now.
The Blues academy graduate has achieved plenty in his young career so far, winning the Champions League in 2021 a clear standout.
However, Chelsea winger Sterling raises a great point that his potential is still sky-high.
Mount’s levels, along with several Chelsea teammates, are lower than usual this season. The arrival of Graham Potter as the head coach at Stamford Bridge did ignite a slight change in his form, though.
It feels like the World Cup stage is the perfect opportunity for Mount to get firing back to his very best.
Chelsea fans will be glad to hear that the Blues have reportedly made a breakthrough in their contract negotiations with the attacking midfielder.
