Chelsea have made it their mantra to bring in promising young talents during the new owners’ time in charge, although it looks as if one is now closing in on their permanent departure.
It has become a source of discontent in the fanbase that at times the club have prioritised bringing in players for the future, rather than those who can make an immediate impact on the starting side.
Supporters who have protested BlueCo have used this as one of their major arguments, even if the likes of Estevao Willian and Andrey Santos have worked out.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan in advanced talks to leave Chelsea
One of those who was brought in as an opportunity was Jimmy-Jay Morgan, who arrived in 2023 from Southampton.
So far, he is yet to feature for the first team squad, and it looks as if that opportunity is not going to come his way.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has stated that Morgan is of interest to West Brom, who are closing in on a permanent deal for the 20-year-old.
He said: “Understand Chelsea striker Jimmy-Jay Morgan is in advanced talks over a move to West Brom in a permanent deal. The England U20 international impressed on loan at Peterborough last season.”
The competition for places up front is intense when it comes to youngsters. Shumaira Mheuka is looking at his first loan move away after starring for the U21s.
The Blues will also be welcoming Dastan Satpaev to the club this summer, with plenty expected of him in the future.

Morgan earned his chance after impressing on loan
In his second loan spell away from Chelsea, Morgan gave a real sign of what he can do in front of goal.
In 34 League One games for Peterborough, the youngster found the net 12 times, assisting three times as well.
It looks as if Chelsea had high hopes for Morgan, after handing him a new contract with the club a year after moving to West London.
However, the reality is that not all of these younger additions are going to make it at Stamford Bridge, and Morgan looks the latest who will find his future elsewhere.
