Julian Nagelsmann has decided to withdraw from the race to become Chelsea’s next manager, according to reports.
In recent weeks, Julian Nagelsmann has been one of the managers strongly linked to the Chelsea job at Stamford Bridge.
In fact, The Telegraph claimed earlier this week that some Chelsea players believed that Nagelsmann is likely to take charge next season.
However, fresh claims seem to suggests there’s been a compete U-turn.

Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported this afternoon that Nagelsmann is no longer in the running for the vacant Chelsea role.
Apparently, the 35-year-old coach has withdrawn himself from the managerial race.
He was considered a frontrunner after multiple conversations with the Blues, but it sounds like he won’t be taking on his first ever Premier League job just yet.
“Julian Nagelsmann has now withdrawn from the race to become the new Chelsea head coach — it looks like it’s his final decision,” Romano wrote on Twitter.
“German coach is said to be no longer available after multiple round of talks.
“Nagelsmann was top candidate for the job.”

Miguel Delaney’s newsletter for The Independent claimed that Nagelsmann was starting to have doubts about taking the Chelsea job.
Just hours later, Romano broke the news about the German coach walking away from any possible move to Stamford Bridge.
The Times claimed today that Chelsea had a four-man shortlist of managers they were looking at. Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino and Vincent Kompany were the trio named in the piece.
If reports are true, Chelsea are down to either Pochettino, Kompany, or an unnamed candidate to become their new permanent manager.
We were certainly warming to the idea of Nageslmann arriving in the Blues dugout, but it may be time to have another rethink.
