Garth Crooks has claimed he is staggered at how bad Chelsea look this season despite the money they have spent.
He told BBC Sport that there has to be a shift in how the club do things at Stamford Bridge soon in order to see a turnaround in results.
Todd Boehly has not been shy to spend money since he became the owner of Chelsea just over a year ago.

He has smashed the club’s transfer record twice, signing Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in consecutive windows.
However, results on the pitch have not followed suit and this has caused concern amongst those who have been watching.
Crooks stunned at Chelsea
The latest example of this was a damning 1-0 defeat at home on Saturday to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues mustered up just two shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, with the biggest chance falling for Nicolas Jackson late in the game.
He blazed over from less than six yards to cap off what was a miserable afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino and his side.

Crooks has claimed that he is still stunned at how bad Chelsea have been despite the money spent.
He said: “How can a club spend over £1bn and their team still look so bad? At some point Chelsea must stop throwing cash at every player they clasp their eyes on and start working on the players they have in their midst to hit the target from reasonable distances.
“This is the sort of stuff you fix on the training pitch and will not find a remedy for in Todd Boehly’s safe.”
