Of all the players Chelsea have let leave over the last few years, there are few they will regret selling more than Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian has gone on to already become a Premier League legend, winning near enough everything on offer during his time at Liverpool.

As Chelsea look to solve the issue of replacing Eden Hazard still, supporters can only imagine what will have happened if they had kept Salah for what has turned into his prime years.

Salah more open to London move than Manchester

The attacker’s contract with Liverpool is set to expire this summer, and there is currently no guarantee that he extends his time at Anfield.

Salah would certainly strengthen any side in the Premier League, however according to The Athletic he would not be keen on a move to Manchester that may jeopardise his legacy in Liverpool.

The report goes on to say though that this may not be the same for a move to London though, keeping Chelsea in the conversation if he does wish to stay in the Premier League.

Raheem Sterling asks to leave Chelsea

Chelsea’s attacking situation at the minute is interesting, with their highest-paid winger seeming to be out of the plans completely at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling has reportedly asked to leave the club after he has been told that there are no plans for him to be involved this season.

The England international was left out completely for the opening game of the season against Manchester City, seeing his camp put out a statement asking for clarity over his situation.

It seems he has got just that, and the addition of Joao Felix that was announced yesterday seems to have been the final nail in the coffin for him when it comes to his Chelsea career.

Another new signing who will be looking to make an immediate impact is Pedro Neto. He has been handed Sterling’s shirt number already.
