How much Chelsea think Nicolas Jackson is worth after Bayern Munich loan

Nicolas Jackson is set to return to Chelsea in the summer after his loan at Bayern Munich finishes.

Bayern have already confirmed that Jackson will not be staying, meaning that Chelsea could sell him to another club in the upcoming transfer window.

If they do decide to offload the striker permanently, it is going to take quite a big fee to sign him.

Are you taking Nicolas Jackson back at Chelsea in the summer? Is he better than what we’ve got?

Chelsea think Nicolas Jackson is still worth £60m

Jackson has not been a regular starter at Bayern this season. In the Bundesliga, he has been named in Vincent Kompany’s first XI just 10 times.

Nevertheless, Chelsea do not think that the 24-year-old’s value has actually gone down.

Bayern would have had to pay nearly £60m to sign Jackson permanently at the end of his loan spell, and his parent club still think he is worth that figure, according to The Athletic.

If Chelsea do end up selling Jackson for that price this summer, it would see them make a hefty profit on the Senegal international.

They paid Villarreal just £32m for his signature back in 2023. Juventus are interested in signing Jackson on loan, but it is quite clear that Chelsea want a £60m permanent deal if they are to let the forward leave the club again.

Chelsea are reportedly set to tweak their transfer strategy and sign more experienced players!

Chelsea shouldn’t sell Nicolas Jackson for less than £50m

Jackson is now a fairly experienced striker who has played for both Chelsea and Bayern.

He is proven in the Premier League, scoring 14 goals in 35 appearances in his first season in the division, and can bring a lot to any English side or top European club.

As well as being able to score goals, Jackson can hold up the ball extremely well and link up play superbly.

Yes, the former Villarreal man could be more clinical. But based on all of the above and the fact that he is not even at his peak yet, Chelsea should be demanding £60m for Jackson. Any bid lower than £50m should not even be discussed in the Chelsea boardroom.
