Chelsea take on Real Madrid on Tuesday night in the last game of their pre-season tour of the USA.

The Blues’ results in their four previous friendlies in America have been mixed. They drew 2-2 with League One side Wrexham in their opening fixture.

Enzo Maresca’s side then suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Celtic but bounced back with an impressive 3-0 win against Club America.

Most recently, Chelsea lost 4-2 to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City in a game they actually played fairly well.

There have been signs of improvement but the Italian boss will not be pleased with the number of individual errors his team keep making. He will now be hoping for a mistake-free display against Real Madrid.

The Chelsea Chronicle tells you everything you need to know about the upcoming match, such as the kick-off time, live stream and team news.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid Live Stream

Blues fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland have had to pay £4.99 to watch Chelsea’s four previous pre-season friendlies live on the official Chelsea website and app.

However, the game against Real Madrid will be shown on TV channel Premier Sports. For a lot of fans, this will be their first time watching Maresca’s side live.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid Team News

Maresca has now managed four pre-season friendlies and his methods are becoming much clearer.

Against Club America and Man City, the Chelsea boss opted for Reece James and Malo Gusto as inverted full-backs.

Tosin Adarabioyo appears to be his first-choice central defender, with either Benoit Badisahile or Levi Colwill on the left side of the pairing. Meanwhile, new signing Filip Jorgensen is likely to replace Robert Sanchez in goal.

Romeo Lavia – who has been impressive this summer – Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo all started against Pep Guardiola’s side but one of them will probably be dropped for a more attack-minded player against Madrid.

Christopher Nkunku should keep his place but not as an out-and-out striker, where he struggled to make an impact against City.
