Fabrizio Romano has now shared what he has heard regarding Chelsea’s transfer policy for January.
He told Caught Offside that up to now he has heard about any changes that are going to be made regarding their business when it comes to more experienced players.
It became clear this summer that Todd Boehly and co placed a significant desire on signing players who were younger and less experienced.

They spent big money on a number of stars, with them smashing their own record fee to bring in Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
However, their own desire to sign young has seen them miss out on a few gems who were quite easily available.
These included James Maddison and James Ward-Prowse, who have gone on to do wonders with Tottenham and West Ham respectively.
Chelsea transfer policy
Romano has now commented on whether he’s heard Chelsea are planning to alter their approach by the winter.
He said: “I am aware of some Chelsea transfer rumours about a possible change of focus in January that could see more experienced players arrive.

“From what I’ve heard, it’s too early to say for sure: nothing has been decided yet and there will be more meetings in the coming weeks, especially between November and December, to decide how to proceed and what kind of signings are needed.”
It has been reported that the club are considering making a move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney when the transfer window opens again.
He certainly fills the criteria of a more experienced player, whilst also filling the void the club have when it comes to putting the ball in the net.
