Todd Boehly currently has a lot of involvement around Chelsea with his hands-on approach, it’s been reported.
Chelsea’s co-owner Boehly, who certainly seems the most active of the new ownership group at Stamford Bridge, has definitely been getting stuck in.
The American businessman acted as interim sporting director during the summer transfer window. He’s now reportedly looking to appoint a new sporting director on a full-time basis, as well as potentially adding to the recruitment staff.

Boehly involvement at Chelsea
Journalist Paul Brown has shared that Boehly is someone that’s very busy around the club.
Apparently, the 49-year-old is popping up everywhere during Graham Potter’s opening weeks as the new Chelsea head coach.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist Paul Brown said: “I am hearing that Todd Boehly is quite a hands-on personality and intends to be that way in and around the club.
“I suspect for the first few weeks, now that there is a new manager in place, he will be here, there and everywhere, smoothing things over, speaking to players, having talks with the manager and deciding strategy. I think that’s probably quite natural.”
It’s quite a stark contrast to the previous regime at Stamford Bridge, but credit to Boehly for showing his passion in his own way.
Of course, there will be a time and a place to let the football experts take control once the right men are filled in the correct positions.

It’s obviously important that there’s a good connection between Potter and the owners.
Let’s hope Potter is left to it to get coaching this squad of players, though.
He’s got the opportunity at Stamford Bridge due to his big success improving and coaching players elsewhere, so let’s see what he can now do with better individuals.
