Simon Jordan can’t believe that Chelsea are set to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise this summer.
There’s strong transfer speculation in this window that Michael Olise, 21, is on the move to Stamford Bridge.
Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on YouTube this week that Chelsea are still working to sign Olise and the deal may be concluded soon.
In addition, RMC Sport claimed that the Blues have agreed a fee with Palace for Olise worth less than his £34million release clause.

TalkSPORT pundit Jordan has reacted to the Olise rumours with real confusion as to why Chelsea are pursuing the Palace attacker.
“I don’t understand what they’re signing him. I don’t understand the perspective behind that. I’m assuming that Pochettino is involved with these discussions and wanting these players,” Jordan told talkSPORT.

We fully understand the questioning of Chelsea’s signings when you consider the amount of individuals still on the book.
If you’re looking at the individual Olise case, though, it’s a big tick in our view.
There’s definitely room for him in the current squad to compete with Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke for the wide positions. He could also be deployed centrally in a playmaker role, too.
Chelsea don’t want to find themselves in a position again when they’ve got a squad of 30-plus players, which created a toxic atmosphere last season. However, we can certainly imagine a spot for Olise in the squad, maybe even the XI.
