Frank Leboeuf has been speaking after Chelsea suffered another defeat, with Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi mentioned.
The Frenchman was discussing the loss to Nottingham Forest on ESPN.
So, what did Frank Leboeuf say about Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the 55-year-old did not like how the Chelsea duo “kept it too simple” against Steve Cooper’s side.
Leboeuf said: “They don’t want to be booed or criticised, so they do the minimum. That’s why I got a little bit upset with Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi too, they kept it too simple.”

Silva made 99 passes against Nottingham Forest with a success rate of 96% – in regards to Disasi, the Frenchman attempted 105 passes with an accuracy of 94.3% on Saturday, as WhoScored shows.
However, the pair only made one key pass each, which proves that most of these 204 passes made between the two of them rarely threatened to disturb Nottingham Forest’s shape.
Levi Colwill should be mentioned alongside Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi after Chelsea loss
Leboeuf is right to question Silva and Disasi for playing things too safe against the Reds, but Levi Colwill does not deserve to be exempt from criticism.
The England Under-21 international is arguably the best technician of the three, and, as he showed on loan at Brighton last season, his passing range and ability to drive up the pitch is outstanding.

Sadly, neither of those traits were on show against Nottingham Forest, which is disappointing – the Chelsea No.26 only made 50 passes, which is low compared to Silva and Disasi.
Colwill can become a major asset for Chelsea in terms of breaking the lines and finding teammates in dangerous areas – hopefully, Mauricio Pochettino helps him find a way to showcase his skills more consistently throughout matches.
