Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly has admitted he will return to Napoli to celebrate if they end up winning the Serie A title this season.
Koulibaly explained his intentions to join the potential trophy party during an interview with Corriere della Sera.
The 31-year-old has a deep affiliation with Napoli, having spent eight years there before joining Chelsea in the summer.

He was a beloved member of the Naples community, making over 300 appearances whilst establishing himself as one of Europe’s finest centre-backs.
Although his departure to Stamford Bridge left a big hole in Napoli’s defence, their fortunes have actually improved over the past few months.
Napoli are on their way to Serie A success
Luciano Spalletti’s side are top of the table in Italy, having yet to taste defeat in the league.
They also have the third best defensive record in the division, another indication of their upwards trajectory in light of Koulibaly’s exit.
Continue in this vein of form and Spalletti will secure the club’s first Scudetto since 1990.
If the Italian crown does return to Naples, they may have to make room on the open top bus for one more to rejoice in the merriments.
“I hope so, we don’t say it out of luck,” replied Koulibaly when asked about his former team’s chances of securing Serie A success.
“If that happens, I will run to Naples to celebrate, it will also be my Scudetto.”
Chelsea off the Premier League pace
At this moment in time, Chelsea’s number 26 is more likely to be celebrating a trophy in Italy rather than London.

Graham Potter’s newly acquired Blues perch three points outside of the Premier League top four, following defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.
Potter was without Koulibaly for the fixture against the Seagulls, and will certainly welcome his recovery ahead of a double billing this week.
Chelsea face Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League tomorrow, before welcoming Arsenal to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
