Joao Felix has claimed to Diario AS that he was left very impressed by a conversation he had with Graham Potter in one of his first days at Chelsea.
It has now been nearly a month for the 23-year-old at Stamford Bridge after moving on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea fans have only been able to see the forward on one occasion since he joined. He made his debut and only appearance so far against Fulham.
Despite impressing greatly with what he brought on the pitch, he was deservedly sent off for a rash challenge on the hour mark.
Nevertheless, Potter will be able to call on him again tomorrow for the London derby with West Ham.
Felix has claimed that the pair have already formed a decent relationship following a meeting hosted by Potter just days after he came to the club.

He said: “One of the first days he called me into his locker room. We were talking about his game idea, the game idea he had thought of for me. He explained to me how the team plays, what they do.
“I really liked that he interacted with me. He shows that he is a very good person and a great coach.”
With pressure mounting from the outside on the former Brighton boss, it is a positive sign that he has had such an effect on one of the new big names at the club.
His time as manager will now come under more scrutiny following the acquisitions in January.
Chelsea spent big on somewhat of a mid-season rebuild last month, addressing the areas that have proven to be a serious concern at Stamford Bridge so far this season.
He will be hopeful that Felix can help him return to winning ways tomorrow.
