Harry Maguire has picked Chelsea target Declan Rice when naming his own dream five-a-side team.
West Ham star Rice, who’s representing England at the World Cup right now, is a player with a lot of quality.
The 23-year-old is an all-action midfielder that can flourish in a box-to-box role. He sits effectively as a more traditional defensive midfielder on the international stage, though.
His performances in recent years has resulted in plenty of transfer speculation that his future may one day lie away from the London Stadium at one of Europe’s elite teams.
The Telegraph recently claimed that Chelsea could hold talks in the next few weeks about trying to sign the West Ham talisman. However, there may reportedly be a £130million price tag on his head.

Harry Maguire five-a-side team
Manchester United and England defender Maguire has given big praise to his international teammate.
When picking a five-a-side team, Maguire told England’s official YouTube account: “…And then I’d go with a midfielder, I’d go with Declan Rice. He protects everything doesn’t he.”
Alongside himself and Rice, Maguire selected John Stones Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo to complete the five-a-side line-up.

There’s no doubt Rice is a top-class operator that’s only going from strength to strength.
He’s been miles ahead as West Ham’s best player in recent years, which has helped him become one of the first names on the team sheet for Gareth Southgate’s England side.
The way he can shine around top players on the international stage is a sign of his true quality, so it would be great to see him get a chance in the Champions League.
